Reserve an entirely original Carmen King landscape, created especially for your home in Carmen’s signature style.
After booking, you’ll be invited to share photographs and measurements of your wall, along with any colours, landscapes or previous Carmen King paintings you’re particularly drawn to.
These ideas will guide the palette and overall feeling of the piece while allowing the composition, expressive trees and layered details to develop naturally.

Framing and Delivery
Within Australia, your painting will be finished in a handmade flooded gum floating frame and delivery is complimentary. Alternative framing finishes are also available by request.
International collectors: Due to the size and care required when shipping large original artworks, commissions are delivered outside Australia as rolled canvas rather than framed. They are carefully removed from their stretcher and floating frame, securely rolled and protected for worldwide delivery. Once it arrives, your painting can be professionally stretched and framed locally by a framer of your choice.
Your deposit and final payment
The amount payable through this page is a 50% deposit of $1600 AUD. It secures your commission and confirms your place in Carmen’s painting schedule.
The total price of your completed commission is $3200 AUD.
Once your painting is complete, you’ll receive photographs of the finished artwork. The remaining balance of $1600 AUD will then be invoiced separately and is payable before the painting is framed and delivered.
There are no additional framing or Australian delivery charges.
What happens after booking?
Carmen will contact you after your deposit has been received to discuss:
- Your wall and the surrounding space
- Your preferred colour direction
- Any previous paintings you particularly love
- The overall feeling you would like the work to evoke
- The expected completion timeframe
You’ll then receive updates at thoughtful points as your painting develops.
The creative process
Every commission is created within Carmen’s established landscape style and is intended to become part of her broader body of work.
Photographs and previous paintings can provide inspiration for colour, scale or feeling, but the finished composition will be entirely original. Existing artworks will not be copied or recreated exactly.
Your preferences will guide the painting while Carmen retains creative freedom over the final composition, colour balance and individual details.
Completion and delivery
Each commission is painted individually, and completion times depend on the size of the artwork and Carmen’s current studio schedule. Your estimated timeframe will be confirmed after booking. Feel free to enquire with Carmen about her commission schedule if desired.
