There’s a softness to this landscape… a quiet kind of stillness that feels as though it’s just settled in. The land moves in gentle bands of colour, warm earth tones meeting cooler notes, with a pale sky that opens everything up.

The trees sit lightly within it… spaced and varied, each one distinct but held together through a subtle rhythm. Their forms feel slightly veiled, as if seen through a shifting light, adding to the sense of atmosphere across the surface.

The palette is balanced and calm… pinks, greens, ochres, and soft blues layered with restraint, with glimmering golds catching the light in small, unexpected moments. The surface is highly textural, with thicker passages allowing those highlights to emerge and shift as the light changes.

There’s a sense of change in it… something that settles and then lifts again. Not fixed, not held, but gently shifting. A landscape that feels momentary, like something seen and then gone.
