this place we always talk about
this place we always talk about - limited edition fine art print
You know that place.
The one you say you’ll go back to one day. The one that lives somewhere between memory and imagination.
'this place we always talk about' is a sun soaked landscape of pink hills, rolling green fields and an impossibly blue sky, layered with expressive trees and sculptural marks that give the whole scene movement and depth.
Painted in acrylic and oil pastel, this piece is rich with texture... repeated layering, thickly built trees and soft blends that shift as the light changes. This piece feels playful, expansive and full of energy and fun.
It’s nostalgic without being literal.
Bright without being loud.
A little bit dreamscape, a little bit real.
The original painting was painted for my debut collection The Real Places and sold in half an hour. It was painted in acrylic and oil pastel on canvas.
