There’s a gentle sense of direction here… the land opening and shifting in soft planes of colour. Pink moves through the foreground, meeting warmer earth tones and greens that settle and balance the scene.
The trees gather along that movement… loosely held, each one slightly different in form and colour. They feel connected rather than separate, creating a rhythm that carries your eye across the surface.
The palette is warm and lifted… pinks, greens, ochres, and touches of blue layered with a lightness of hand. The surface is highly textural, with thicker passages of paint catching and reflecting the light alongside smoother areas, creating depth and subtle movement.
There’s something shared in it… not a solitary landscape, but one that suggests presence, companionship, and moving through something side by side.
